Medicare rebates in Australia are currently only available for sessions with registered or clinical psychologists under the Better Access initiative. As a PACFA-registered psychotherapist, sessions at Golden Gate are not eligible for Medicare rebates. However, some private health funds do cover psychotherapy — it's worth checking your policy.
Possibly. Coverage varies by fund and policy. Contact your insurer directly to confirm whether psychotherapy with a PACFA-registered practitioner is covered under your extras.
